Created over 31 consecutive days in October 2020, this series raises awareness of the growing list of mammals, birds and insects which have been added to the IUCN red list of threatened and endangered UK species.
A new print features all 31 illustrations in their retro matchbox style loaded with rough paper texture and a minimal colour palette, created digitally and then printed in A3 or A2 to appreciate the delicate details of each featured animal.

My new 2022 calendar features illustrations of a select 31 of the growing list of mammals, birds and insects which have been added to the ‘red list’ of endangered species in the UK.
Created in a retro vintage matchbox style, 12 months feature full page illustrations to appreciate the delicate details of each featured animal, with a further 19 species in a mini collage print at the back, all created in a distinctive minimal colour palette. Shop Now

In March 2019 Dario contributed one of the first sculptures to launch the ‘Cows About Cambridge’ art trail coordinated by Wild in Art and supporting ‘Each’ Charity. ‘May Belle’ was hand painted with the famous Kings College river scene which and is now live in Cambridge, situated on Christ’s Pieces.

Illustrator, designer and printmaker
Dario Fisher was born in Swansea, South Wales (UK) in 1985 and grew up near the stunning Gower coastline – a designated area of outstanding natural beauty and early inspiration for his love of nature and conservation.
After graduating with a B.A. Hons in General Illustration now creates original artwork from his home studio, shipping art across the world.
Ever driven by travel, nature and art, the series of Whale illustrations was born out of an experience whale watching off the coast of California, in a nod to traditional printing processes and Japanese art.
In 2019 Dario has had work exibited in Bury St Edmunds as part of Norwich print collective “Off The Press”, as well as being comissioned to paint one of the leading sculptures for the ‘Cows About Cambridge’ art trail by Wild in Art, going live in 2020.
