Hello, I’m Dario, an Illustrator and Printmaker who grew up in Swansea, and am now based in Cambridge.

Nature has always been a driving force in my life. I have vivid memories of growing up admiring tortoiseshell butterflies in my back garden, and visiting natural history museums. More recently, I've had the privilege of watching humpback whales in Norway’s fjords,  pine martens in Scotland, and peregrine falcon chicks fledge in central Cambridge.

This deep connection to the natural world has shaped my work across various mediums - drawing, screen printing, lino cut, collage, photography, and digital art. Today, I blend traditional techniques with digital methods (although not a.i!) to create tactile, emotive art that speaks for my deeper appreciation for the environment, while keeping it grounded with a traditional, hand crafted look and feel.
